Job summary

Aalberts invites a driven Talent & Learning Lead to join our Utrecht head office. You will design succession frameworks, lead reviews with business leaders, and steer global engagement and learning programs.

You will report to the Chief People and Sustainability Officer and shape a learning architecture across regions. In this role, you’ll drive leadership development, align talent strategies with business goals, and build high-impact pipelines for critical roles in a globally operating company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, organizational development, psychology or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in talent management, learning & development, or HR strategy.
• Proven experience designing leadership development and succession frameworks.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience with engagement data and performance metrics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in international companies.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Lead global employee engagement initiatives from survey to action planning.
• Shape our global learning strategy and architecture, including digital learning and coaching.

• Design and drive our global succession planning approach, identifying critical roles and building strong, future-ready talent pipelines.
• Lead talent and succession reviews with business leaders, assessing talent readiness and translating insights into concrete actions.
• Lead our global employee engagement approach, from survey execution and analysis to action planning and progress monitoring.
• Shape our global learning strategy and architecture, including digital learning, coaching, mentoring and learning platforms.
• Run impactful leadership development programs across different organisational levels, working with internal experts and external partners.
• Measure and improve the impact of talent, leadership, learning and engagement initiatives through relevant performance, retention and engagement insights.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and Aalberts Head Office, building alignment across businesses and regions and driving adoption of global talent and learning initiatives.
• You will report to the Chief People and Sustainability Officer.
