Job summary

Aalberts advanced mechatronics in Nijmegen is seeking a Process Engineer to design, optimize, and secure high-tech production processes. You will act as the technical bridge between engineering and production, driving efficiency and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

You will lead PFMEA/RCA efforts, optimize cleanroom assembly, and collaborate with quality, production, and supply chain to elevate operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Hands-on, proactive, quality-conscious and adaptable to a dynamic shop floor.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Process optimization using Lean methods to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Provide production support and communicate bottlenecks to enable structural improvements.
• Manage and improve assembly processes in the cleanroom environment and ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Lead PFMEA and root-cause analysis when deviations occur to define critical parameters.

As a Process Engineer at Lamers High Tech Systems, located in Nijmegen, you are responsible for designing, optimizing, and securing our high-tech production processes. You act as the technical bridge between the engineering department and the production teams to achieve a seamless workflow and maximum efficiency. Your contribution

In this role, you are the technical right hand of production. You are not a "die-hard" R&D engineer sitting behind a screen all day, but a hands-on professional who draws energy from the dynamics on the shop floor.

What you will actually be doing:

• Process Optimization: Applying Lean methodologies to eliminate waste, shorten throughput times, and boost operational performance on the shop floor.
• Production Support & Communication: Close alignment with the production floor to translate operational bottlenecks into structural process improvements.
• Cleanroom Technology: Managing and continuously improving assembly processes within the cleanroom environment, taking cleanliness requirements and quality standards into account.
• Quality & Risk Management: Executing Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), defining critical process parameters, and leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in the event of process deviations.
