Job summary

A2G Consulting BV (A2G Technologies) is seeking an experienced Systems Test Engineer to ensure the performance, safety and reliability of interventional applications in a multinational R&D setting. You will translate complex requirements into automated tests and drive threat modeling and risk-based verification.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure high-quality release readiness, develop test scripts, and diagnose defects through structured debugging and metrics tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience with verification of medical device software, SaMD, or healthcare technology.
• Experience with requirement-based verification, risk-based testing, or system integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, scripting, or AI-driven verification methods.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into measurable automated test cases covering end-to-end functionality and edge cases.
• Develop and execute system test scripts using dedicated tools aligned with modern testing frameworks.
• Identify potential system-level risks using threat modeling and system analysis to enable early defect detection.
• Diagnose root causes of defects through systematic debugging and track key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams globally to ensure high-quality software release readiness.

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Best, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

Working in an international R&D environment, you convert complex system requirements into automated test suites, mitigate risks through threat modeling, and directly impact the future of patient care.

• Translate system requirements into measurable automated test cases covering end-to‑end functionality and edge cases.
• Develop and execute system test scripts using dedicated tools aligned with modern testing frameworks.
• Identify potential system‑level risks using threat modeling and system analysis to enable early defect detection.
• Diagnose root causes of defects through systematic debugging and track key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams globally to ensure high‑quality software release readiness.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• You hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
• You have experience with verification of medical device software, Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), or healthcare technology.
• You have experience with requirement‑based verification, risk‑based testing, or system integration testing.
• You have hands‑on experience with automated testing tools, scripting, or AI‑driven verification methods.
