Job summary

WTSS is a FinTech partner for international banks, based in Rotterdam. You will join the Systems & Infrastructure team to manage and improve real-time banking IT infrastructure across multiple hardware and environments.

The role is hands-on and highly technical, spanning Linux, Windows, scripting, networking, and virtualization. You’ll work closely with a small, expert team to ensure reliability, continuity, and security.

Qualifications

• HBO-level working and thinking ability; degree less important than problem-solving mindset.
• Technical mindset for solving problems, even under pressure.
• Structured, careful work: follow steps and notice anomalies.
• Curiosity about hardware, security or FinTech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux and Windows environments.
• Script with Bash and PowerShell and improve automation.
• Manage and improve network and firewall environment (OPNsense, high-availability pairs, UniFi).
• Work with virtualization and backup environments (Proxmox VE, Ceph, Proxmox Backup Server).
