Job summary

CSC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to ensure stability and performance of Global Financial Solutions applications. You will act as Tier 2 escalation, partner with development and infrastructure, and drive incident resolution and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting and service mindset with exposure to financial-services operations; salary range is €50,000–€60,000 per year. Hybrid work model applies in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in application support or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for GFS applications and investigate complex incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Serve as escalation point for critical issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability; support releases and changes.
• Prepare runbooks and documentation to improve Tier 1 resolution rates.
