Job summary

SWIFT is seeking a systems administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our secure financial messaging platforms. Under supervision, you will configure, test, and maintain hardware and software environments to ensure reliability and security.

You will work with senior specialists to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and build knowledge across diverse, global teams in a fast-paced, security-conscious setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Some experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Experience in systems administration and support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day systems administration and maintenance activities under supervision.
• Identify problems and assist in problem management resolution, including line transactions and system status.
• Interact with network services and applications teams to restore service availability.
• Propose system modifications to reduce user problems and improve performance.
• Set up and configure test environments for provisioning.
• Update training materials and provide technical support across divisions.
• Participate in reviews to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Acquire technical and product knowledge to resolve problems.
