Job summary

CSC is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Global Financial Solutions team. You will provide Tier 2 support for critical applications, investigate incidents, perform RCA, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to improve service quality.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, ownership, and communication, with a hybrid work model and CET hours. The salary range is €45,000 - €55,000, with final pay based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in production enterprise application support.
• ITIL Foundation or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for GFS applications and resolve complex incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead major incident bridges with clear technical leadership.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to improve reliability.
• Review changes for risk and operational readiness.
• Document runbooks and support procedures; assist Tier 1 resolution.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
