Job summary

Sioux Technologies is seeking a System Security Architect for high-tech systems. You will design secure architectures for multidisciplinary products and ensure cybersecurity is embedded from concept to lifecycle.

Responsibilities include translating regulations into system requirements, leading risk analyses, and coordinating across software, electronics, mechanics and infrastructure teams. Hybrid work in the Netherlands is possible.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related.
• 10+ years of experience developing complex multidisciplinary high-tech systems.
• Experience as System Architect, Lead System Engineer, or Principal Design Engineer.
• Experience integrating software, electronics and mechatronics into complete products.
• Proven experience implementing security standards and cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Experience translating customer and regulatory requirements into system specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coach multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define secure system architectures for complex high-tech equipment.
• Translate the Cyber Resilience Act, IEC 62443 and other regulations into practical system requirements.
• Perform system-level cybersecurity risk analyses and lead TARA workshops.
• Allocate security requirements across software, electronics, mechanics and infrastructure.
• Design secure operational concepts, maintenance strategies and software update mechanisms.
• Define cybersecurity requirements for suppliers and subsystems and support certification and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
