Job summary

UpcoMinds is seeking a System Engineer for an international assignment in The Hague, Netherlands. The role requires an active NATO/EU SECRET security clearance and is on-site only.

You will contribute to domain architectures and interface specifications for cloud-based and on-premises components, while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, planning changes, and guiding resource availability.

Qualifications

• System engineering and lifecycle management
• Requirements engineering with traceability
• Knowledge of NATO concepts desirable
• Bachelor degree or 5 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Develop domain architectures for business/infra areas
• Define specifications for cloud/on-prem components
• Prepare technical plans and enforce design principles
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
• Assist in requirements scoping and prioritisation
• Elicit, document and trace requirements
• Review requirements for errors and omissions
• Document traceability to source
• Provide input to baseline requirements
• Manage change requests and resource planning
• Monitor progress of development projects
