Job summary

BDR Thermea Group is seeking a Product Engineer to develop mechanical components from concept to production, owning parts such as sheet metal, plastics, piping and assemblies. You’ll translate ideas into manufacturable designs, perform validations and work with Testing, Quality, Procurement, Production and Electronics to bring products to life for large-scale European customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's HBO in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-8 years in product development, engineering or mechanical design.
• Solid experience creating 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and fundamentals.
• Good English communication; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve mechanical components and assemblies for new products.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Translate requirements into manufacturable designs and supplier specs.
• Perform engineering calculations and validations for feasibility and performance.
• Support prototype development, testing and validation.
• Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, quality and production.
