Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC in Amsterdam area is seeking a Supply Planner to join its growing planning team. This role focuses on ensuring the right materials are available to support production and coordinating with purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and scheduling teams.

You will analyze forecasts, manage inventory, and optimize material flow while supporting S&OP and cost-saving initiatives. Strong ERP experience and manufacturing background are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, Math/Statistics, or related field; equivalent related experience may be considered.
• Experience in supply planning, materials planning, production planning, materials expediting, or related area.
• SAP or other ERP experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work with a sense of urgency.
• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze material requirements and provide forecasts to suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels and material flow to support production.
• Determine order quantities and monitor purchase orders.
• Coordinate material movements between suppliers, warehouses, and manufacturing.
• Partner with purchasing, scheduling, operations, logistics, and quality teams.
• Monitor inventory, including excess and aging materials.
• Troubleshoot supply and planning issues and help identify root causes.
• Maintain planning information in SAP/ERP systems.
• Support S&OP, supply reviews, long-range planning, and other planning initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
