Job summary

SodaStream Netherlands is seeking a Material Planner to oversee supply and inventory for assembly and gas filling operations. You will ensure materials arrive on time to support production and collaborate with planners and suppliers to prevent shortages.

Ideal candidates bring HBO-level logistics knowledge, 2+ years in international settings, and strong Excel skills. English fluency is required, and there is emphasis on proactive problem solving and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: HBO level in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• 2+ years in an international environment.
• Advanced Excel required; Word and Outlook are a must.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent level of English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the supply and timing of deliveries according to the production plan.
• Actively follow up on scheduled deliveries.
• Inventory management: determine correct order quantity based on MOQ, advantages, requirements and risks.
• Collaborate with planners and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Discuss shortages and work with suppliers and production planners to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate logistics and on-time arrival of raw materials for production.
• Ensure KPIs for order and stock control are met.
• Prevent and analyze overstock and inform logistics team of inbound/outbound deliveries.
• Continuously improve working methods and cover duties as needed.
• Follow safety and quality instructions and contribute to safety/quality improvements.
