Job summary

Stora Enso West Europe is seeking a Supply & Inventory Planner to ensure a reliable, up-to-date inventory overview across internal and external warehouses. You will collaborate with planning, production, logistics, procurement and IT to keep inventory management smooth.

You will analyze data, standardize processes, and translate insights into improvements that boost accuracy, simplicity, and efficiency. Dutch and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level HBO degree or equivalent.
• Accurate, analytical and structured approach to work.
• Affinity for systems and process improvement.
• Clear communication in Dutch and English.
• Experience with inventory or supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a reliable, up-to-date inventory overview in internal and external warehouses.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve differences promptly.
• Monitor inventory movements in ERP and process transactions accurately.
• Prepare reports on aging, trends and discrepancies and standardize reporting.
• Support planning and supply with daily figures and material consumption registration.
• Identify trends and bottlenecks and propose improvements to inventory management.
• Perform other duties as Supply Planner.

What will you do?

As a Supply & Inventory Planner, you ensure a reliable and up-to-date inventory overview in our internal and external warehouses. You collaborate closely with colleagues from planning, production, logistics, procurement, and IT to keep inventory management running smoothly. In this role, you combine accuracy with the ability to improve and standardize processes. You don't just focus on what needs to be done, but also on how it can be done smarter, more consistently, and more efficiently.

Your core responsibilities

• You ensure a reliable and up-to-date inventory overview in internal and external warehouses;
• You investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure differences are resolved in a timely and thorough manner;
• You monitor inventory movements in the ERP system and process transactions consistently and accurately;
• You prepare clear reports on aging, trends, and discrepancies, and contribute to further standardization of information reporting;
• You support planning and supply with tasks such as paper and preprint processing, daily figures, and material consumption registration;
• You actively contribute to improving and standardizing daily processes, with a focus on simplicity, predictability, and quality;
• You use data to identify trends and bottlenecks and translate these insights into proposals that further professionalize inventory management;
• And all other tasks associated with the role of Supply Planner.
