Job summary

Canon Production Printing is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer for a 32-40 hour role in Venlo, NL, with hybrid working. You will balance demand and supply, engage with Canon Regions, and support new product introductions while driving lean improvements.

The candidate will have a Bachelor or Master in SCM, at least 5 years in manufacturing, strong SAP knowledge, and Dutch/English communication skills. This position emphasizes collaboration across functions and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain Management.
• At least 5 years experience in a similar manufacturing role.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing, inbound planning and supplier management.
• Knowledge of lean concepts (value stream mapping, flow/pull, Kanban, kaizen, heijunka, didov, dmaic).
• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build your network.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Signal bottlenecks and collaborate with other functions to resolve.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and end products with colleagues and suppliers.
• Collaborate with SCM, procurement, production, QA, R&D, IT, business units, suppliers and customers.
• Lead supply chain aspects of new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Initiate and lead process improvements in line with lean concepts and inventory optimization.
