Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, the Netherlands, seeks an Industrial Engineering student for a Lean-Based Optimization internship focused on production control and material flow on the Silicone Belt Production Line.

You will map current flow, identify bottlenecks and wastes, and develop a future-state production system with practical targets and push-pull concepts, supported by an existing planning model and data-driven insights, during a 5-6 month assignment with at least four days per week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a relevant Industrial Engineering degree and interested in Lean.
• Problem-solving mindset with data-driven approach.
• Experience with modelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current production flow and WIP between steps.
• Identify bottlenecks, waste and inventory drivers.
• Develop a future-state Lean production flow and targets.
• Evaluate push-pull applicability and support implementation.
