Boskalis is seeking a Geo Engineer to join the Geo Department within Global Engineering. You will support Offshore Energy’s Subsea Cables activities, contributing to engineering, installation, and burial of subsea cables for offshore wind farms and interconnectors.

You will work with a multidisciplinary, international team and provide geo-engineering input across tender and early project phases. You will perform soil and burial assessments, support route studies, analyze geotechnical data,

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, geo(technical) engineering, geophysics, geosciences, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant geotechnical or geo-engineering experience.
• Willingness to work offshore several times per year (typically 2–4 trips).
• Experience with GIS applications (ArcGIS Pro) and spatial data analysis.
• Experience with Python programming and data processing.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
• Availability to work from Papendrecht, the Netherlands office.

Responsabilidades

• Perform soil condition assessments and cable burial assessments.
• Support route engineering and cable installation studies.
• Analyze, interpret, and visualize geotechnical and geophysical data.
• Identify geohazards and geotechnical risks and develop mitigation measures.
• Prepare clear, concise, high‑quality technical reports and recommendations.
• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of geotechnical methodologies and tools.
