Job summary

Boskalis Offshore Energy in The Netherlands is seeking an Equipment Operator / Technician to join the Subsea Cables division. You will operate on cable laying vessels, contribute to installation and burial of subsea cables for offshore wind farms and interconnectors, and support energy transition goals.

The role requires hands-on technical experience, 3+ years with turntables and tensioners, and an MBO engineering degree. Work may involve 4-6 week stints on location with rotations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating a turntable and tensioner.
• MBO degree in engineering fields (mechatronics, electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical).
• Knowledge of maintaining hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate company-specific equipment safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
