Job summary

DeRegt Cables, based in the Netherlands, designs and manufactures custom cable systems for offshore, marine, defence, and industrial applications. You’ll join a multidisciplinary design team delivering innovative, high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes translating customer requirements into practical designs, applying DFMEA, risk assessments, and Design for Manufacturing principles using 3D CAD tools across projects in energy, ROVs, and defense sectors.

Qualifications

• HBO or WO degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Structured working style with strong analytical skills and an independent approach to problem solving.
• Experience with product development processes and knowledge of cable technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design custom-built cable systems based on customer specifications.
• Consider electrical and technical standards throughout the design process.
• Act as technical point of contact for customers and provide product status updates.
• Provide technical support to production on designed products.
• Monitor project planning and budget and discuss deviations with the manager.
• Work across diverse projects from offshore energy to deep sea and defense applications.
