Job summary

DeRegt Cables in the Netherlands designs and manufactures custom cable systems for offshore, marine, and defence applications. You will join the Design Team, delivering technically robust solutions across projects from offshore energy to ROVs and deep sea missions.

We seek an HBO/WO Electrical Engineer with strong English, analytical rigor and experience in DFMEA, design for manufacturing, and CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo). Hybrid work up to 2 days remote weekly.

Qualifications

HBO or WO degree in Electrical Engineering.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Structured way of working, strong analytical skills and independent problem solving.
Experience with DFMEA, risk assessments and root cause analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design custom-built cable systems based on customer specifications.
Ensure compliance with electrical and technical standards throughout the design process.
Serve as technical contact for customers and communicate product status.
Provide technical support to production on designed products.
Monitor project planning and budget, reporting deviations to the manager.
Work on diverse projects from offshore energy to defence applications.
