Job summary
DeRegt Cables is a key player in designing and manufacturing custom cable solutions for offshore, marine, defense and industrial applications. The Electrical Design Engineer will develop cable systems from concept to qualification, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, international environment.
The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree, fluent English, and a structured, analytical approach to complex design challenges.
Qualifications
- HBO or WO degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Structured working approach with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design custom-built cable systems based on customer specifications.
- Consider electrical and technical standards throughout the design process.
- Act as technical point of contact for customers and inform them on product status.
- Provide technical support to production on designed products.
- Monitor project planning and budget, discuss deviations with the manager.
- Work across a range of projects from offshore energy to defense applications.
