Job summary

A leading renewable energy firm is seeking a Cable Design Manager for offshore wind farm projects in Breda, Netherlands. This hands-on technical leadership role requires an experienced engineer adept at resolving complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include leading cable design, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and acting as a technical authority on subsea cable projects. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with EPCI contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally with an EPCI contractor.
• Experience with subsea cables or marine cables.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end subsea cable design process.
• Act as a technical authority for offshore wind subsea cable projects.
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex challenges.
