Job summary

University of Amsterdam is seeking a Student Assistant to help coordinate an ERC-funded research project on data infrastructures and democracy. You will support planning meetings, maintain the team calendar, and organize research materials under supervision of the PI.

The role offers hands-on experience in project coordination, science communication, and academic research within an international team at the heart of Amsterdam's scholarly community.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Dutch university (BA second year or higher).
• Experience in project coordination or science communication is a plus but not required.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of an international research project: plan meetings, maintain calendars, monitor tasks and deadlines.
• Organize empirical data and research materials for the project.
• Manage the project's website, blog, social media, and Zotero library.
• Help organize workshops, conferences, and public events.
