Job summary

UvA invites motivated students to join an ERC-funded research project on data infrastructures and democracy as a Student Assistant. You will support coordination, research tasks, and science communication under the supervision of the PI and a diverse team in an international setting in Amsterdam.

You will help organize meetings, workshops, and communications, update the project website and Zotero library, and contribute to newsletters. Mentorship and collaboration are central to this role.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BA program (2nd year or higher) at a Dutch university.
• Experience with project coordination or science communication is helpful but not required.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of an international research project (planning meetings, calendars, deadlines).
• Organize empirical data and research materials to support the project.
• Manage project website, blog, social media, and public Zotero library.
