Job summary

Fastned UK Limited is seeking a proactive Working Student in Amsterdam with a passion for Data Analytics and AI Process Automation. You will support day-to-day payroll and accounting operations and contribute to automation projects to optimize global workflows.

You will join the Payroll Team, report to the Payroll Lead, and collaborate with HR and Accounting. This role offers flexible hours around studies and a hands-on chance to influence where Fastned expands next.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; interest in Power BI, SQL, AI platforms or automation tools
• Ability to handle confidential payroll data with discretion
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Automate data flows from HiBob absence reports into monthly absence templates for multiple countries
• Consolidate working student hours into a Dutch payroll report
• Collect and consolidate net deductions for building access access issues
• Prepare monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliation accounts from Netsuite
• Administer current pension plan and assist with invoicing to Accounts Payable
