Job summary

The Amsterdam School for Historical Studies (ASH) at the University of Amsterdam is seeking a part-time Research Master student to support coordination between thematic priorities and research groups. You will help plan and organize meetings and events, and assist with outreach to ASH members and partners.

The role requires strong communication in Dutch and English, an interest in academic research, and a hands-on approach to organising activities within the ASH team.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with an explicit interest in academic research and university structures.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English are essential.
• A practical approach to tasks and organisational support is required.

Responsibilities

• Inventory relationships between UvA Thematic Research Priorities and research groups.
• Approach group leaders and members to support initiative development.
• Provide communication and logistical support for meetings and events.
