UvA is seeking a student assistant for the Starting Grant project Future Modernities and Non-modern Futures. The role involves coordinating conferences and workshops, website upkeep, and assisting with publications and material gathering.

The position requires an MA student at the University of Amsterdam, strong organizational and English communication skills, and the ability to work in a team. Dutch/Spanish/Italian skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• MA student at the University of Amsterdam (until at least November 2027).
• Experience in organizational/administrative work and strong teamwork.
• Excellent English writing and speaking; Dutch/Spanish/Italian writing and speaking a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative support for the project conference and other workshops/seminars in the Netherlands and abroad (communication with speakers, accommodations, venues, catering).
• Maintain project website (WordPress).
• Assist gathering research materials for team members.
• Assist in preparation of publications (formatting, references, bibliographies, index terms).
• Assist with general administration of the project (Dropbox maintenance and archiving).
