Job summary

Tilburg University invites applications for two student assistants to help design, pilot, and evaluate a reflection component for take-home assessments in a project on Assessment Innovation in Higher Education. You will work with the project leader to integrate generative AI considerations and document findings to inform higher education practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration, literature review, and development tasks, with opportunities to contribute to education innovation and assessment

Qualifications

Currently enrolled at Tilburg University with at least 60 ECTS completed in a bachelor’s program or are in a master’s program.
Strong written and spoken English (CEFR B2). Knowledge of Dutch is not required.
Experience with literature searches and academic sources.
Experience with Canvas, Microsoft products, and Generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, pilot, and evaluate a reflection component for a take-home assessment.
Review relevant literature on student reflection and take-home assessment.
Identify examples of reflection assessments used in higher education.
Contribute to the design of the reflection component for take-home assessments.
Test the reflection component with and without generative AI tools.
Provide feedback on effectiveness, feasibility, and quality of the reflection component.
Support project administration and course management tasks as needed.
