Job summary

VAN DER LEE Turbo Systems is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales, perform quotation cost calculations, and control costs while supporting marketing activities. You will structure BOMs, manage cost feedback, and nurture relationships with existing and new customers globally.

You will translate customer needs into practical automotive and aerospace turbo solution concepts, research new markets, and help set pricing strategies. English proficiency (C1) is required; Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year commercial experience, ideally in automotive or aviation environments.
• APQP, ISO/TS16949 or AS9100 experience preferred.
• Willingness to occasional client/site visits and driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Support business development with quote cost calculations.
• Structure costed BOM and manage cost feedback loop over project time.
• Maintain relations and improve business with existing and new customers.
• Translate customer requests to solutions.
• Research of new markets and gaining market share.
• Setup outlet channels for motorsports and high performance market.
• Setup product and pricing strategy.
• Synchronize supplier and customer requirements.
• Manage commercial tools & marketing (Website, shows, media).
• Manage profitability.
