Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands is seeking a Pricing Modelling & Commercial Strategist to help win deals and improve profitability by shaping pricing strategies and commercial constructs for complex consulting engagements. You will model deal economics and set winning price points in close collaboration with partners and pursuit teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years’ experience in pricing and commercial modelling for consulting, professional services or complex B2B offers.
• Demonstrable expertise in commercial modelling: building, validating and presenting financial/pricing models that inform bid decisions.
• Proven experience in asset pricing and monetization of intangible products or IP (including digital products, technology and AI).
• Strong numerical skills: advanced Excel modelling and experience with other quantitative tools for scenario analysis.
• Excellent understanding of pricing constructs for consulting services and framework agreements (rate cards, blended models).
• Experience with producing commercial terms for contractual documentation and supporting negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to engage partners and directors.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines as an active member of pursuit teams.

Responsibilities

• Help win deals and improve profitability through pricing and commercial propositions.
• Set the winning price point and shape commercial constructs for complex engagements.
• Model deal economics and design pricing scenarios for bids and proposals.
• Translate commercial strategy into contractual terms and support negotiations.
• Collaborate with Partners, Directors and pursuit teams to price to win while protecting margin.
• Develop pricing and commercial propositions to demonstrate value and growth for key clients.
