Job summary

Monitor Deloitte – Strategy & Business Design in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Manager to drive client strategy in Financial Services, leading a team of consultants and managing projects from inception to delivery. You will develop growth and innovation strategies, build client relationships, and cross-collaborate with Deloitte teams; travel abroad opportunities may arise.

The role requires at least 6 years in strategy consulting in FS or a FS strategy role, with strong English and Dutch

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of work experience in strategy consulting for FS clients or a strategy role in the Financial Services Industry.
• Deep understanding of FS trends, challenges, and opportunities, and the future direction.
• Experience in business development, including identifying opportunities, acquiring new clients, and expanding services with existing clients.
• Proficiency in English (and preferably Dutch). In word and writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of consultants to ensure project delivery and development.
• Support our financial services strategy team in identifying and pursuing value creation opportunities.
• Act as a single point of contact with the client and manage client communication and project timelines.
• Identify new strategic opportunities for banking clients.
• Cross-collaborate with clients and colleagues from diverse functions and/or Deloitte teams (e.g., M&A, Risk, Analytics, Deloitte Digital).
• Help to further develop your team through knowledge development, social impact projects and recruitment activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders and stakeholders.
