Job summary

Merit Maastricht (The Netherlands) is seeking a Pricing and Business Analyst to drive price uplift and optimization across EMEA, collaborating with sales, contracting, and account teams. You will translate pricing data into actionable recommendations and support strategic decisions with analytics.

The role emphasizes building pricing models, master price lists, and tools to enable data-driven decisions; requires a Bachelor’s degree and advanced Excel, plus knowledge of Oracle/Vendavo/DOMO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle, Vendavo, DOMO, or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regions and functions.
• Knowledge of AI, PowerBI, and programming languages (Python, R, SQL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse pricing data, market trends, and competitor benchmarks to support strategic pricing decisions across EMEA.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, master price lists (MPL), and volume-based pricing strategies.
• Working closely with sales leaders, strategic account managers, and contracting teams.
• Analysing the impact of strategic decisions.
• Driving price uplift and optimization across key markets.
• Building tools that support data-driven decisions.
• Rolling out new pricing systems and tools - from implementation to adoption.
• Designing new processes.
• Collaborating with a global network of colleagues - your contact list will span continents and cultures.
