Job summary

Cepheid, part of Danaher's Life Sciences portfolio, seeks a Senior HR Generalist for Southern Europe. The role covers policy interpretation, employee relations, and operations across France, Spain, and nearby regions.

The position is on-site in Amsterdam, reporting to the VP HR Commercial, with exposure to a regional HR team and cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in HR operations or generalist roles, fluent French and English, and experience with multi-country

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in HR operations, shared services, or HR generalist roles.
• Demonstrated ability to independently resolve sensitive HR matters with policy guidance.
• Strong proficiency with HRIS, case management systems, reporting tools.
• Fluent French and English; Spanish and multi-country experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve sensitive, escalated, and non-standard HR cases across the employee lifecycle.
• Advise people leaders on documentation, process requirements, risk considerations, and next steps within policies.
• Collaborate with HR Service Delivery, People Partners, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Legal to ensure escalations are handled end-to-end.
• Support France and Spain employee representative processes, including preparation and action tracking.
• Coordinate global Commercial HR processes and projects, including headcount tracking and analytics.
