Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Finance Partner - Operations to serve as the senior finance advisor to the Global Operations organization. This role shapes strategy, drives profitable growth, optimizes resource allocation, and leads global finance teams to maximize long-term value creation.

As a trusted member of the leadership team, you will evaluate investments, assess risks and trade-offs, and provide financial leadership on critical decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven years of progressive finance experience at executive level.
• Experience partnering across functions such as Global Operations, Product, Engineering, IT, Marketing, Customer Success, or Corporate Functions.
• Proven record of influencing strategy and major investment decisions at the executive level.
• Strong command of value creation, long-range planning, scenario design, and business model economics.
• Experience with a shared Financial Planning and Analysis Center of Excellence setup.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance thought partner to executive leaders within Global Operations, shaping priorities and growth.
• Frame decisions with clear options, criteria, and trade-offs for leadership review.
• Lead modeling and analysis through the FP&A Center of Excellence and translate outputs into actionable recommendations.
• Define forward-looking business models to evaluate markets, pricing, partnerships, and operating shifts.
• Advise on growth, portfolio, and capability-building choices and their operating implications.
• Sponsor post-decision reviews to capture learnings and drive accountability.
• Lead a senior partnering team and foster a culture of curiosity, speed, and collaboration.
