Job summary

Equinix, Inc. in Amsterdam seeks a seasoned FP&A professional to lead forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; MBA or professional certifications preferred.
• MBA preferred; CPA/CFA certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required for FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting: lead budget and forecast processes with consolidated analysis.
• Reporting: manage regular executive and operational KPI reporting and complex analyses.
• Business Partnering: influence leaders across functions to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Financial Analysis: identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems.
• Control/Compliance: oversee SOX compliance, purchase orders and headcount approvals.
• Sales Commission: review and approve commissions and sales bonuses.

Job Summary

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for providing financial leadership to support and challenge decisions pertaining to the profitability and financial health of the company. FP&A is primarily responsible for forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis and business partnering. The FP&A team aims to deliver high quality, relevant, timely and accurate financial and non-financial information to enable key decision making and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

Forecasting

• Reviews templates, consolidate analysis and presentation to enable the budget and forecast process

• Reviews and completes more complex forecasting including the strategic long term model

Reporting

• Reviews regular executive and operational report preparation and analysis process for financial and non-financial KPI’s (key performance indicators), completes more complex reporting initiatives

Business Partnering

• Influences decisions made by leaders across the business (cross functionally) and work to understand the business needs and deliver on those needs

Financial Analysis

• Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems

Control/Compliance

• Completes purchase order approvals, new headcount approvals, and ensures regulatory compliance [i.e. SOX]

Sales Commission

• Reviews and approves commissions and sales bonus

Qualifications

• Proven years experience in finance or related field preferred

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred

• Master's degree (MBA) preferred · CPA/CFA certification preferred
