Job summary

Odyssey Hotel Group in Utrecht is seeking a Finance Associate to ensure accurate data processing and align financial information with operational needs. You will coordinate, plan and monitor financial processes as part of the hotel team while collaborating with the central Finance team in Utrecht.

As part of the role, you will help prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, support budgeting and forecasting, conduct profitability and cost analyses, and assist with accounts receivable and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting, tax, finance, audit, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Navision, and/or Fairmas is a plus.
• A natural aptitude for analysis and working with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and modeling.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closes with timely reporting.
• Maintain financial records complying with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct profitability, cost, and ROI analyses to support decisions.
• Collaborate with departments to gather financial information and provide insights.
• Assist in accounts receivable and payable management.
• Support internal and external audits with required information.
