Job summary

TNO is seeking a Senior Business Developer for Land & Amphibious Operations in The Hague. You will drive relationships with the Royal Netherlands Army, Marine Corps, and industry partners, translating client needs into actionable R&D and project opportunities.

You’ll work closely with the EMO team within DSS, guiding ideas to concrete deployments, and staying aligned with national and international defence developments. Strong leadership and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (WO).
• At least 10 years combined working experience within the Ministry of Defence or related defence/ security sector and as a consultant or business developer.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage long-term relationships with MoD, industry partners, and defence organisations.
• Translate client needs into concrete projects and bring military capabilities into operation.
• Represent and connect knowledge development with short-term technology projects.
