Science [&] Technology Corporation in Delft is seeking a Medior Business Development Manager for Defence & Security. The role connects technology, stakeholders, and operational needs to shape practical, field-ready solutions in mission-critical environments.

You will engage with Defence organisations, research partners, and industry players to translate needs into opportunities and to develop compelling proposals and partnerships. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree.
• Experience in Defence & Security sector or similar.
• Affinity with high-tech systems and innovation.
• Understanding of Defence-related systems (e.g. C4ISR) is a strong advantage.
• Experience in business development, stakeholder management, or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Defence stakeholders, research institutions, and industry partners.
• Translate operational needs into concrete opportunities and collaborations.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Defence & Security domain.
• Stay up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and Defence developments.
• Represent the organisation at events, exhibitions, and industry gatherings.
• Work closely with internal technical teams to shape proposals and solutions.
• Support the development of business cases and value propositions.
• Contribute to turning innovative technologies into practical, field-ready capabilities.
