Job summary

The role at TNO involves developing innovative defence and security projects and shaping national and international initiatives in collaboration with government and industry partners. You will act as an orchestrator, connecting Defence needs with TNO’s capabilities and driving opportunities to concrete outcomes.

You will maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and stay abreast of latest developments, participating in conferences and events to advise and guide programs.

Qualifications

• Academic or higher professional education level (Master's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in, or affinity with, the defence and security domain or related industries.
• Affinity with innovation and technology.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, verbal and written (minimum C1 level).

Responsibilities

• Develop national and international defence projects, including NATO and the European Defence Fund (EDF) initiatives.
• Act as an orchestrator, identify opportunities, and guide ideas through to concrete projects.
• Build long-term relationships with stakeholders across defence, security, industry and government.
• Stay up to date with developments by reading professional literature and attending conferences and symposia.
