Job summary

EPAM in the Netherlands seeks a Data & AI Governance Consultant to join in a hybrid setup. You will advise senior executives, shape data and AI strategies, and define operating models to comply with emerging AI regulations.

You will lead governance programs, assess maturity, and guide clients through regulatory readiness and enterprise rollouts with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting in Data Governance, Data Management or AI Governance.
• Subject matter expertise in DCAM and Responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, accountability).
• Experience running maturity assessments and providing strategic implementation recommendations.
• Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle risks (model drift, bias, GenAI risks).
• Excellent English communication and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide Data & AI Governance strategy discussions with client executives.
• Define and implement AI Governance frameworks aligned to regulatory and business requirements.
• Conduct Data Management & Governance assessments to build maturity roadmaps.
• Design federated governance operating models with councils and RACI structures.
• Advise on GenAI risk mitigation and compliant use of large language models.
• Support regulatory readiness and audit documentation for EU AI Act.
• Deliver end-to-end consulting from strategy to MVP definition and rollout.
• Lead workshops to discover priorities and assess capabilities.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and executive presentations.
