Job summary

UNHCR, based in The Hague, seeks an Assistant PPH Officer (Corporates) to strengthen fundraising in Benelux. You will support corporate and major donor engagements, craft compelling proposals, and help shape strategic plans to secure long‑term income for UNHCR programmes.

The role requires a HBO+/Bachelor’s level background in related fields, at least one year of relevant experience, and fluency in Dutch and English. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is an asset.

Qualifications

• Completion of HBO+/University degree in Marketing, International Relations, Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• Fluent Dutch and English; strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with corporate and major donor contacts to build relationships.
• Deliver stewardship to corporate and major donors and review objectives.
• Develop presentations, proposals and reports for corporate and major donors.
• Contribute to strategic plan development for Benelux Private Partnerships & Philanthropy.
• Initiate and lead major donor opportunities aligned with fundraising strategy.
• Support team efforts to position UNHCR as the go-to for private sector donors in Benelux.
• Grow UNHCR awareness among PPH audiences, especially corporates and major donors.
• Monitor fundraising environment and develop new opportunities in Benelux.
• Ensure due diligence in PPH collaborations.
• Provide ad hoc support as requested.
