Job summary

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is seeking an Assistant PPH Officer (Corporates) for the Benelux team in The Hague. The role focuses on cultivating corporate and major donor partnerships to secure sustainable income for UNHCR’s programmes, in line with PSP Europe strategies.

Based in the Hague, you will support fundraising activities, prepare compelling proposals, and coordinate with PSP Benelux and the global network to expand private sector funding while maintaining due diligence and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum HBO+/University degree in Marketing, International Relations, Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum one year of relevant job experience.
• Experience with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for private sector donors in the Netherlands.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is an asset.
• Experience with an international NGO or UN organization is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Dutch fundraising environment, focused on corporates/major donors.
• Affinity with UNHCR’s work and refugees.
• Structured, detail-oriented work style.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with corporate and major donor contacts to build and cultivate relationships.
• Deliver stewardship to corporate and major donors and review objectives.
• Develop presentations, proposals and reports to maximize donor potential.
• Support strategic planning for Private Partnerships & Philanthropy in Benelux.
• Initiate and lead major donor opportunities aligned with fundraising strategy.
• Strengthen UNHCR’s position with the private sector in Benelux.
• Grow awareness among PSP audiences and donors.
• Work within UNHCR’s due diligence policies for collaborations.
