Job summary

Rituals in Amsterdam is seeking a Category Demand Planner to own end-to-end demand for assigned categories. You will forecast, manage assortment and drive the S&OP cadence, collaborating with Supply Chain, Commercial and markets to ensure product availability.

The role blends analytics with commercial planning; you will influence decisions with data, implement new planning processes, and support ERP/tool improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years or more of relevant experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, Promotion Planning or Commercial Planning in retail, FMCG or consumer goods.
• Strong analytical skills; translate data, planning variables and forecast performance into insights and actions.
• Experience with ERP or planning-tool implementations/upgrades (RELEX ideal; SAP/Oracle/o9/Kinaxis/Blue Yonder).
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI, SQL, Python or AI knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the category demand plan for agreed markets and categories.
• Lead the commercial planning cadence within the S&OP cycle; align opportunities and risks across functions.
• Advise and challenge stakeholders using forecast insights and business priorities.
• Drive the monthly demand validation meeting and follow-up actions.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and contribute to new demand planning processes and tools.
