Job summary

Rituals is seeking an internationally minded student for a Category Planning Intern role at our Central Head Office in Amsterdam. You will work with experienced Category Planners on real supply chain challenges across Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, Travel, Master Franchise and B2B.

Your initial focus will be product allocation, ensuring products reach the right place at the right time, while gaining experience in short-term forecasting, demand signals, inventory management and relevant business

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s programme.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Comfortable communicating in English in an international environment.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Support product allocation across sales channels to improve availability while maintaining healthy inventory.
• Analyse inventory, sales and demand data to identify deviations, risks and opportunities and translate into insights.
• Monitor product availability and inventory developments and help plan actions.
• Contribute to short-term forecasting for upcoming 0–3 months by analyzing demand signals.
• Create and maintain reports and analyses to support Category Planners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and commercial teams to align priorities and actions.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve planning processes and data quality.
• Explore how AI tools and automation can simplify recurring tasks and enable faster data-driven decisions.
• Participate in projects to improve ways of working within Category Planning.
