Job summary

BYD Europe BV is seeking a motivated Tender Specialist for its After-sales Service Department in Schiedam. You will analyze tender documents, assess aftersales risks, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and technical teams to deliver high-quality bids on time.

Your role focuses on risk assessment, pricing optimization, and robust tender administration to support profitable contracts. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Data Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project support, or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Python would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• T​ender Analysis and Administration: review tender docs, terms, SLAs; identify aftersales obligations; maintain tender admin system.
• Risk Management and Quotation Support: identify aftersales risks; develop life cycle cost calculations; support cost breakdowns.
• Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication: coordinate with Sales, Tendering, Finance; prepare reports for stakeholders; attend project meetings.
• Process Improvement and Customer Focus: improve tender process efficiency; gather feedback; analyze ongoing tenders for best practices.
• Pricing Strategy Optimization: monitor industry trends; benchmark pricing; perform cost analyses to optimize pricing.
