Job summary

Timberland Rotterdam is seeking a customer-focused Store Supervisor to lead our store team and deliver exceptional experiences for every visitor. You will guide daily operations, coach staff, and drive sales through proactive engagement and product recommendations, while maintaining brand standards on the shop floor.

The role requires a 30-hour week with weekend availability and strong communication skills; fluency in English is essential, Dutch is a plus.

As a key member of the store leadership team, you will support daily operations, inspire colleagues through example, and deliver exceptional experiences for every customer who walks through our doors.

What you’ll do

• Leading by example and providing outstanding customer service.
• Creating a welcoming and engaging store environment for every customer.
• Coaching, motivating and supporting team members in their day‑to‑day activities.
• Driving sales performance through proactive customer engagement and product recommendations.
• Supporting daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitoring visual merchandising standards and ensuring the store reflects the Timberland brand.
• Managing operational tasks such as stock handling, replenishment and general store organization.
• Assisting with team scheduling, task delegation and floor coverage when required.
• Ensuring company policies, procedures and health & safety guidelines are consistently followed.

Availability

This is a 30‑hour per week position. Availability on at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and peak trading periods.

Language Skills

English proficiency is required. Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage.

Hiring Range: €27,361.60 EUR - €34,202.00 EUR annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
