Job summary

MR MARVIS in Amsterdam seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and drive sales performance. You will coach a diverse team, manage stock and visual standards, and ensure efficient administrative processes.

You will be responsible for staffing, targets, and KPI reporting, with a focus on maintaining brand integrity in a fast-growing, international retail environment. 40 hours per week, weekend work included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a retail setting.
• Passion for the MR MARVIS brand, presentation and customer experience.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Commercial mindset with experience working to targets and KPIs.
• Organised and reliable, balancing operational duties with people management.
• Excellent communication in English and Dutch.
• Familiarity with retail technology and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations for excellent presentation and a welcoming environment.
• Drive sales by coaching the team, setting targets, and monitoring KPIs.
• Recruit, train and schedule store colleagues to ensure optimal staffing.
• Own stock management, counts, replenishment and loss prevention.
• Maintain visual merchandising and execute brand-aligned displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Organise in-store events to strengthen local brand presence.
• Handle administrative tasks, sales reporting and cash procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the daily operations of the store to ensure excellent presentation, smooth processes and a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
• Drive sales performance by coaching the team, setting clear targets, monitoring KPIs and acting on insights to improve results.
• Recruit, train and develop store colleagues; create schedules, manage rotas and ensure optimal staffing for peak times.
• Own stock management and inventory procedures, including stock counts, replenishment and loss prevention measures.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute local store windows, displays and product placements in line with brand guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and manage customer issues with a solution-oriented approach.
• Organise and host in-store events and community activities to strengthen local brand presence.
• Complete administrative tasks, sales reporting and cash handling procedures accurately and on time.

Who You Are

• Proven retail management experience, typically 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Passionate about the MR MARVIS brand, presentation and customer experience.
• Strong leader who can motivate, develop and coach a diverse team with a positive and hands-on approach.
• Commercially minded with experience working to targets and using KPIs to drive performance.
• Organised, reliable and able to balance operational duties with people management.
• Excellent communicator in English and Dutch.
• Comfortable with retail technology and basic reporting tools.
• Available to work 40 hours per week including one day in the weekend.
• For non-Europeans, a valid working permit for the Netherlands is required.
