MR MARVIS is seeking a proactive Junior Designer to join our Amsterdam-based Product team. You will assist from concept to final garment execution, driving collections forward with market insights and collaborative design work.

You’ll conduct trend research, create technical sketches in Illustrator, and coordinate fittings and reviews to ensure samples meet briefed goals. A strong portfolio showcasing menswear and full‑cycle development is expected.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in fashion design, product development, or a related creative role.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with proven ability to craft detailed technical sketches and flat drawings.
• Strong visual and creative sensibility, with an instinct for color, proportion, garment construction, and refined details.
• Passion for menswear and industry trends, actively following market developments, textile innovations, and competitor offerings.
• Curiosity for full‑cycle product development, eager to understand how design choices translate into successful commercial products.
• Proactive attitude and strong ownership, comfortable managing projects independently from brief to completion.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Designer throughout the design lifecycle, assisting from initial research and ideation to final product development and collection rollout.
• Conduct market and trend research on colors, fabrics, silhouettes, trims, and competitors, translating findings into moodboards and color palettes.
• Create and update technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator, maintaining precise visual overviews of the collection as styles evolve.
• Contribute to key product decisions across the development cycle, understanding how designs translate to finished garments.
• Coordinate milestone design events, including fittings, range reviews, and line openings, ensuring samples and materials are prepared.
• Take ownership of follow-up actions, translating briefs and outcomes into well-structured proposals for review.
• Stay aligned with product performance and market insights, collaborating with Merchandising and cross-functional teams.
• Organize and curate the design workspace, ensuring sample libraries, fabric swatches, and trims are accessible.

The role

MR MARVIS is looking for a proactive Junior Designer to join our Product team in Amsterdam. Working closely with our Designer, you will help bring collections to life from initial concept through to final garment execution.

What You'll Do

• Support the Designer throughout the design lifecycle, assisting from initial research and creative ideation to final product development and collection rollout.

• Stay aligned with product performance and market insights, collaborating with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to integrate customer feedback into the design process.
