Job summary

MR MARVIS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Breda to support the Store Manager with daily operations, stock management and team leadership on the shop floor. You will help maintain presentation, drive KPIs, organize events, train staff, and act as a capable deputy during the Store Manager's absence.

Fluency in English and Dutch, at least 1 year retail experience, and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset are essential.

• Flexible and representative, with a strong personality.
• Able to co-lead, motivate, train and develop a team through active management.
• Customer- and service-oriented.
• Strong communicator in English and Dutch.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with a laptop.
• Experienced with KPIs and store targets.

Responsibilities

• Act as brand ambassador for MR MARVIS and motivate the team.
• Ensure a clean, organized store following merchandising guidelines.
• Co-own staff scheduling and productivity planning.
• Contribute to daily training and development of the team.
• Guide and motivate the store team with a positive approach.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to achieve commercial targets.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to store performance improvements.
• Assist with stock/inventory management and administrative tasks.
• Support store events and welcome customers on shift.
• Lead in the Store Manager's absence.

Job description

As Assistant Store Manager, you're the Store Manager's right hand. You're a motivating force within the team, help maintain the store's presentation, and work alongside the Store Manager to achieve commercial goals. You're partially responsible for daily operations, stock management, and leading the team on the shop floor.

You actively help improve the customer experience and assist in organising events in-store. When the Store Manager is absent, you step in and take over their tasks as much as possible.

What's on your typical to-do list:

• Act as a proud brand ambassador for MR MARVIS, inspiring both the team and our customers;
• Ensure a clean, organised, and appealing store environment, following our visual merchandising guidelines;
• Co-own the staff scheduling and productivity planning responsibility;
• Contribute to daily training sessions and the ongoing development and upskilling of the team;
• Guide and motivate the store team with a positive, encouraging approach;
• Work alongside the Store Manager to achieve commercial targets;
• Monitor KPIs and actively contribute to improving store performance;
• Assist with store inventory management and administrative tasks;
• Support the organisation of store events and act as a welcoming host;
• Take the lead in the Store Manager's absence.

Who you are
