Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Deutschland) GmbH in Moerdijk, Netherlands, is seeking a Stock Controller to join our logistics team. You will ensure accurate stock levels, monitor incoming/outgoing goods, and support warehouse operations on the floor while maintaining strong administrative controls.

You will work with Excel, MS Office, and our WMS system, performing regular inventory checks, reporting findings, and collaborating with the WHS supervisor to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehousing operations and warehouse processes.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and MS Access.
• Accurate and detail-oriented.
• Strong affinity with the logistics industry.
• Able to identify patterns and develop creative solutions.
• Hands-on on the warehouse floor and willing to get hands dirty.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Checking the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing orders and goods
• General follow-up of warehouse activities (repacking, timely replenishment, etc.)
• Performing administrative tasks related to inventory management
• Implement corrective measures following root cause analysis for quality issues
• Responsible for periodically sending out internal and external stock reports, in coordination with the WHS supervisor
• Inspect storage locations for missing goods and identify potential improvements
• Perform regular inventory checks
• Specify item characteristics for new products and carry out periodic ABC analyses
• Monitor expiration dates of goods and follow up in line with customer requirements
• Manage stock both physically and systematically via our WMS system
• Assist in the implementation of new customers, offering support and advice
