Job summary

Yuno is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to set the reliability direction for our AI agent infrastructure on AWS, scaling across 190+ countries. You will own architecture decisions, drive event-driven messaging, and establish measurable reliability standards for multiple teams.

The role requires deep AWS, IaC, Kubernetes, and observability expertise, plus leadership in incident response and chaos engineering.

Qualifications

• Designed and owned event-driven messaging systems with at-least-once delivery.
• Strong AWS fundamentals for inter-service communication over VPC.
• Terraform or Pulumi for IaC with PR-based reviews.
• Kubernetes and Docker in production with scale.
• Observability, SLOs/SLIs, and dashboards for reliability.
• Chaos engineering and resilience testing across services.
• Distributed systems debugging with automation/coding in Go or Python.
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) performance basics.
• Proven technical leadership, setting reliability standards and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Define reliability strategy, SLO culture, and incident practices.
• Drive platform architecture and evolution for reliability.
• Design messaging layer for inter-service communication (async).
• Own cloud infrastructure and IaC for scalable deployments.
• Build observability, dashboards, alerts, and tracing for health.
• Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
